La Moringa Signs MOU with U.S. Buyer, A Strategic Step to Expand Indonesia’s Superfood to the World

BSD City, NTTzoom.com -A historic milestone has been achieved by La Moringa, the only company in Indonesia producing and exporting premium food and beverage products made from Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera), a world-renowned superfood with powerful nutritional and medical benefits.

During the prestigious Trade Expo Indonesia 2025 held at ICE BSD, La Moringa officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a buyer from the United States of America.

This partnership marks an important step in La Moringa’s global expansion, following its successful export of Moringa-based products to Qatar, Japan, Canada, and Timor Leste. With this new collaboration, La Moringa is ready to bring Indonesia’s superfood to one of the world’s largest health and wellness markets — the United States.

CEO of La Moringa, dr. Andree Hartanto, Sp.OG., expressed his gratitude and pride:

“Moringa is a natural gift from Indonesia, especially from East Nusa Tenggara, with tremendous health benefits for the world. We are proud to bring locally processed Moringa products to the global market. This is not just about exporting products it’s about showcasing Indonesia’s potential and empowering the people behind it.”

La Moringa’s product line includes Moringa tea, functional beverages, nutritional capsules, and a variety of healthy food innovations, which will soon be available in the U.S. market through retail networks and international e-commerce platforms.

“We believe Moringa is the future of nutrition. Our partnership with La Moringa allows us to introduce this natural Indonesian superfood to U.S. consumers with quality they can trust,” said the U.S. buyer representative.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by representatives from the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center Los Angeles (ITPC Los Angeles USA) and the Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Republik Indonesia, who expressed their full support for Indonesian exporters entering global markets.

As a pioneer in Indonesia’s Moringa industry, La Moringa is not only focused on exports but also carries a strong social mission. Through this collaboration, La Moringa aims to introduce Moringa-based products from East Nusa Tenggara and Indonesia to the world stage. This step is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy — improving the welfare of Moringa farmers, creating quality jobs, and strengthening the competitiveness of Indonesian food products in the global market.

Moreover, La Moringa is deeply committed to empowering local communities and Indonesian women, particularly in Moringa-growing regions. The company focuses on creating sustainable value chains, increasing added value, and maintaining high quality standards in every product to compete globally.

“We believe that when the world recognizes Indonesian Moringa, our farmers and communities will prosper. This is more than just business it is a movement to build a stronger and more sustainable future for our people,” added dr. Andree Hartanto, Sp.OG.

This MOU signing serves as a testament to Indonesia’s ability to compete in the global marketplace and earn the trust of international buyers.

With the spirit of “From Indonesia to the World,” La Moringa continues its mission to become Indonesia’s Moringa superfood ambassador and to bring the health benefits of Moringa to people around the globe. (jr/nz*)
